“Nasty Nate” – The theme that started a revolution

This is the theme song that started it all. I remember it was a late night. I was hanging out with my friend and Geographer band member Nathan Blaz, and thought about how cool it would be if people had their own custom theme songs. A song that would capture the very essence of their awesomeness. Back in the day, Nate’s nick name was “Nasty Nate”. I used his Nasty Nate moniker to quickly conjure ideas for his theme, and the rest is history. I decided to set some limitations on the composition, which would inevitably become loose guidelines for how future themes were created. I gave myself between 60-90 seconds for the duration of the song, included a strong hook/refrain, and made the song aurally embody the baine of that person’s existance (through my eyes and ears of course). And now, for your listening pleasure, the one that started it all, the “Nasty Nate” theme song. Enjoy.
